This week marks the start of spring and with that comes Mother’s Day. It’s one of the most important days of the year and we’ve got a couple of great suggestions to save those of you who are lost on what to do. Flowers and chocolates are nice, but why not take it one step further? And the best part? There’s no cover charge and the music is said to be just what the doctor ordered. Win-win, no? Just make sure to book a table at Flow as soon as possible!

Capoeira Night @ Jadal for Knowledge and Culture
Thursday, March 23rd @ 7:00 p.m.

Heard of Capoeira? Well, if you’re into dance and martial arts, this is the perfect combo. Jadal for Knowledge and Culture and Capoeira4Refugees are hosting a Capoeira night for a demonstration, and an introduction to the art’s history and philosophy. Enjoy the live music performance and if you’re up for it, join in the fun! It’s first come first serve, so make sure to get there early!

Price: Free, but do donate a minimum of 2 JDs for the cause!

Kingdom Cycling Championship @ Nader Bikes
Friday, March 24th @ 8:00 a.m.

This is the year to mark the start of Jordan’s first annual Kingdom Cycling Championship. For all you avid bikers out there, this race will be one for the books. Under the patronage of Jordanian Cycling Federation (JCF), and in partnership with Nader Bikes, the race will be broken up into 4 stages. The first event will be this Friday, with the other 3 following in April, May and August. Check out the page for more details.

Jordan Trail: Bergesh to Rasoun @ Experience Jordan
Friday, March 24th @ 7:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Walkers unite! Spring is upon us and there’s nothing like reigning in the season with a hike. This Friday, Experience Jordan is organizing a 4 hour, moderate level hike from the Bergesh Cave in Bergesh Forest, to Rasoun. Caves, ruins, olive groves… these are a few of the things to look forward to. Not to mention a traditional lunch with a local family to top things off!
