The practice of mindfulness is as addictive as it is beneficial. It clears your mind and washes over your spirit. If you’re not fasting, try to avoid eating a large meal before sitting on the mat, you might end up passing out and not enjoying the benefits of mindful meditation.

Who doesn’t love a breathtaking view of the starry sky? Phi Science Institute is hosting an evening in the desert, where you can monitor the night sky for what it truly is, unpolluted. You’ll start your evening with your arrival at sundown and follow it with a simple Iftar, then you’ll get to look through a telescope and learn about the wonders the cosmos holds! You’ll want to prepare a few stories to tell for when you’re gathered around in a musical circle afterwards.
