Hiking Wadi Al-Hasa @ Tropical Desert
Friday, August 25 – Saturday, August 26 @ 6:15 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. 

Wadi Al-Hasa runs from the potash mines near the desert highway all the way to Ghor Al-Safi near the Dead Sea. Water runs through gorges from the Limestones to Sand Stones and sediment walls all across the wadi. These hot and cold waters are crystal clear and even drinkable. The canyon is famous as it was mentioned in the Bible and is depicted on the mosaic map of Madaba. This overnight trip is a non-technical route that is a one way moderate around 24 km long. It’s one of the best hikes in the country, and definitely worth the trip.
