ROE is taking part in one of the hippest summertime festivals in the region. Chill O’Posite is taking over Dahab between September the 1st and the 4th. Four full days of magic, music and good vibrations. And to kick off the mini-festival right here in town, Republic is giving us Ammani’s a taste of what’s to come by hosting the same Ramazing DJ’s from the main event! This Thursday, welcome Beruit’s MaDJam and Egypt’s SEBZZ for hip beats and sick sound waves.

Feel like having a chill night out in the awesome summer weather in town? Shams Nights is a weekly dinner at Beit Shams. Bring your friends or that special someone for a breezy night filled with favorite seasonal mezzes and traditional BBQ. This Friday, Amman’s newest venue is taking over Boulevard’s Rooftop with a live performance by DJ Legend Said Mrad from Beirut and DJ Marwan K! The Friends of Jordan Festival is hosting a spectacular concert by the Palestinian Youth Orchestra (PYO); the flagship orchestra of the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music. The Royal Film Commission is teaming up with Innovative Yemen to give you a visual journey of Yemen in the form of film. The first ‘Yemeni Film Days‘ is on, and you’re in for a ride.

How about something at a different speed for some family fun? We’re sure you’ve had a crazy summer with your kids and could use a little winding down. This Yoga Day is a full day of exploring and experiencing different Yoga styles to better know your body. If you’ve got older kids, bring them along to the morning classes open for all levels about meditation, pranayama, and Yoga Dragon Dance. Or have them join the afternoon sessions exploring stretching and bending, Dosha, Yin Unwind & Yoga Nidra. For the littler ones, there are two one-hour sessions morning and afternoon for kids (registration needed). So if you’re looking for a full day of learning, growing and engaging with the family…this yoga event is going full-throttle with the best instructors in town. Whatever your reason may be, SheFighter is really excited to be organizing the Gymnastics for Beginners course for a third time! Cycling Khalda @ Amman Cycling Club

Up for a cycling ride and meeting new people? Amman Cycling Club is making it easy. This Sunday, gather at Al-Maaref School to take a tour around Khalda for a few hours. You’ll be provided the bike, helmet, yellow vest for safety, water and the company of professional guides for tips, support and technical assistance. Seats are limited so make sure to reserve a spot and dress in comfy sportswear!
