The Terrific Toddler Years @ Landmark Hotel

Going through the trials and tribulations of those toddler years? If you’re a parent of a 1-3 year old you’ll love this workshop. This 2 hour workshop hosted by 360Moms will discuss the toddler years, why they’re so challenging, how to deal with tantrums and the word “no” and why time-outs don’t work. It’s perfect if you need to learn how to deal. Dead Sea Triathlon and Duathlon @ Bike Rush
Friday, April 21 @ 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. 

Following the success of last year’s events, Bike Rush is hosting an epic Triathlon and Duathlon at the Dead Sea on the 21st of April. The Triathlon combines a 750m Swim, 20Km Road Cycling and 5Km Run. The Duathlon consists of a 5Km Run, a 20Km Road Cycle and a 2.5Km Run. The race is set in the fantastic Lagoon Resort, with the swim in their huge 400m long swimming pool, the cycle leg is on the public roads outside the resort overlooking the Dead Sea, and the run is laps along the track around the lagoon inside the resort. Up for the challenge?

Wadi Al-Karak Hike @ Backpackers JO

How about exploring one of Jordan’s greatest canyons? This medium level hike will trail itself mostly in water to end up at a beautiful canyon with 5 great waterfalls. The hike will be about 10 km long, and include 5 rappels (with a 25m rappel being the highest). All you need to do is bring your hiking shoes, backpack, an extra change of clothes, sunscreen and shade… and Backpackers Jo will provide the rest! Check out their page for more information.

Voices of the Land @ Dozan wa Awtar
Saturday, April 22 @ 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Ever been curious about folk music? If so, Dozan wa Awtar and Atfal Dozan are bringing you Voices of the Land. This concert explores folk music from around the world, and will feature guest Conductor Elise Bradley from the Toronto Children’s Chorus. Enjoy the melodies of united nations in song and movement from all corners of the globe.
