This long-weekend sure has got us feeling rewarded for all the hard labor we have been doing, gave us the chance to celebrate the Easter holiday with family and start-off the week feeling well rested and fresh. Now that the weekend is almost over, it’s time to see what this week has for us in store! ICS Food Fair 2016 @ International Community School

The most exciting annual food fair  in Amman is back! If you haven’t been to one of these fairs before, then you have got to pay it a visit this year. Spend your Friday at the ICS where you can enjoy the fresh crisp air away from the city, beautiful scenery and most importantly try the best dishes and drinks from all around the world. They have stations representing different countries where you can experience their cuisine, enter the raffle draw to win prizes, enjoy the live entertainment, arts & crafts stations  and way more! Ticket Price: JD 5 for Adults and JD3 for kids from 3-16 years.

Australian Wine Evening @Intercontinental Hotel

May 9th at 7:00 p.m.

When one mentions Australia, many things come to mind but wine isn’t usually one of them. Here’s your chance to fall in love with Australian wine in this evening coordinated by Intercontinental Hotel, where you get to savour the taste of aged grapes from “down under”.

Faia Younan @Odeon Theatre

May 3rd at 8:00 p.m. & May 4th at 10:00 p.m.

Faia Younan will be performing for two nights in a row at the Odeon Theatre in Amman. Younan has captured the heart of a lot of Jordanians after releasing a song on YouTube with a group of young arabs living in Sweden, the song was titled “To Our Countries” this collaboration has shed the spot light on Faia’s talent and gave her the exposure she had longed for to pursue a career in music. Tickets are sold at Turtle Green Tea Bar, Fann Wa Chai and Music Box.

Ticket Price: JD15, JD20 and JD25.

Autostrad and Drum Jam Live @Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts Park

May 9th at 8:30 p.m.

Jordanian indie band Autostrad is performing live for one night only with percussion local legends Drum Jam, both nationally popular bands are joining forces to give you a concert to remember! This event is sponsored by Abdul hameed Shoman Foundation and will be taking place at the National Gallery park in Jabal Lweibdeh.

Yarub Smairat and Natalie Sama’an @Abdul hameed Shoman Foundation

Violinist Yarub Smairat has been getting more and more attention over the past couple of years for his talent, passion  and collaborations with national and international musicians. This Thursday, Smairat will be performing with Natalie Sama’an who is a Jordanian artist thats was presented with a plaque of appreciation by the National Music Conservatory. This concert is part of Jabal Amman Cultural week 2016, the event is public and free of charge.

Ladies night with DJ Denis Davidov @Cube Lounge

May 3rd at 10:00 p.m.

DJ Denis Davidov will be playing live at Cube Lounge all the way till 2:00 a.m. Ladies get special treatment throughout the night courtesy of their weekly “Ladies Night”. Make sure to catch DJ Denis this Tuesday night for the best sets from deep-house and NuDisco music.
