This week is officially the first week of fall, that time of year where summer folds up on itself as autumn equinox takes place. Wadi Zarqa Maain @Tropical Desert Trips

This pleasant 6 km walk through a basalt and sandstone canyon winds through groves of pink flowers, leading to an epic 25 meter abseil (rappel) into a secret natural basin where hikers can splash in a pool with a waterfall and go on to admire sweeping views of the canyon. Descending down through this huge waterfall is a wild and watery adventure and is one of the finest descents one can find in our beautiful Jordan.
