OUM is a fantastic singer from the Kingdom of Morocco. A star in her own country, she’s collaborated with well known artists and is a judge on Morocco’s The Voice. She released her new album, Soul of Morocco, in France which got her the critical acclaim and international media that is well deserved. With Gnawa and Hassani rhythms of the Sahara, fused with the soul and jazz music of her taste, are truly worth a listen. You bet her performance at Odeon Theater this Sunday is a definite must-do if you’re an eclectic music lover!

Happy Hour will be from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and the vibe is going to be awesome. So if you’re down to explore some new music, then this venue and event is definitely one for the books.

Interested in an autopsy? How about a lyrical one? This event will be an evening with Tareq Shalabi aka the Mad Hatter. You’ll hear a wicked guitar solo, followed by a demonstration and break down of iconic rock/metal guitar riffs. You’ll go on a brief history about the evolution of the electric guitar and uses through genres. Plus, you’ll get technical tips and tricks for novice guitar and bass players alike! Ever been curious about the Afro-Brazilian art form that combines music, movements and martial arts? This is your chance! The class is open to beginners and is free. For the first time at SheFighter, the academy is creating a specialized course to teach you how to fight! You’ll learn how to use safe training guards and practice the techniques with your pattern.
